So, I finally have my master bath in the vicinity of where I want it! So exciting!
I’m a minimalist when it comes to decoration because I can’t stand clutter or knickknacks, so I tried to make a statement with a focal blue wall and then add a few touches to maintain coastal theme, such as shells and coastal pictures. Also, since we plan to move in a few years, I didn’t want to do anything too permanent. I can always repaint the wall white if needed.
My goal was coastal chic with a spa-like feel, and every time I walk in it now, I love it!
I added a little coffee center and vase full of fresh flowers because I absolutely adore fresh flowers and how alive they make a space seem.
And, since coffee is my go-to mainstay, having it close at hand just makes sense to me. I love walking into the bathroom and starting up a fresh cup as I try to figure out what in the world I’m doing with my hair today…messy bun or messy ponytail? Too many decisions here!
I tried to take pictures in different lights to show the different looks.
I LOVE the whale picture. When I saw it, I was completely gone.
I would love to say that this is now my own personal retreat, but my kids inhabit this space as much as I do, so it’s more like a chic family retreat 🙂
Leave me comments and tell me what you think! Any suggestions? I’d love to hear them!
